Mother was very happy staying here. Flor and Vincent gave her special and personal attention, which reassured her and made her feel that she was in a loving home. The home setting was beautiful and very clean. Living 3 ½ hours away, I felt very relieved and grateful Mother was able to stay at Lalaine's. I would recommend this care facility without reservation.

I’m so happy my cousin, Russ, is staying at Lalaine’s. It’s a beautiful home, clean and quiet, and the caregivers are very considerate.
Really – just like a home atmosphere.
-Kathryn Norstrom
P.S. Good food too!

I just wanted to thank you for all of the love and support that have given my “adopted Grandfather”, Russell (last name withheld). Through the years I have had to place family members into a few “Elderly” or “Rehabilitation Homes” for seniors in the area. I only wish that I had found your beautiful home at those times. Your home is not like the impersonal, chaotic homes that unfortunately I did find. Those homes had left bad feelings in my heart each time I had to leave a family member for the night. Your home is a clean, happy, nurturing, “homey” environment for elderly guests as they re-cooperate from what every they may be going through. When I leave Russ for the night, I am able to sleep and not worry about if he’s being neglected. Because I know that he is being well cared for as if I were there taking care of him myself.
I have spoken with Russ away from your home about his treatment and care, to make sure that what I see and feel about your home is accurate. Russ has told me and others on various occasions that he loves it there. “The food is great, and they are very nice to me.” When I told him that if he ever didn’t like it there that we could find another home, his response was, “Can’t I just stay here? I want to stay here – I like it here”. My response of course is always, “you can stay where ever you want”, and that I’m glad that he likes it here. I knew your home was a great place after only a couple of days had passed since Russ was placed there. He came into your home, a shell of a human being, and each day he flourished. I use the work “flourished” because that’s exactly what he did. Within a week, it was amazing – the man that we had all known and loved came back from death’s door.
Now, I know you have provided medical treatment and of course proper nutrition to him. But based on the speed of the results, I think what caused the most change in him was the love and support that your family gave him. He placed into your home and all of a sudden he had a family environment again, with people who treat him with respect and genuinely want to know how he feels and what he thinks. You reminded him that people do care about him and that his life is worth living. Too often elderly people are “forgotten” or ignored by their own families. It makes me very happy to know that there are such wonderful people like your family who “adopt” these people and others who require your assistance for their physical rehabilitation. There are not enough words for me to continue telling you how wonderful that I think you all are. All I can say is that Russ is truly blessed to have had your family cross his path. I include your family in my prayers each night as I am soooo grateful that you care for and love Russ just as I do.
Thank you again for all that you do,
Kristin M. Cruz
