Lalaine's Residential Care-Home is a 24-hour, 7-day a week residential care home for the elderly, serving
ambulatory and non-ambulatory men and women ages 60 and over. Our goal is to provide a
home-oriented environment, which will cater to the individual needs of our elderly individuals who require
assistance with their daily living needs. This facility will encourage elderly adults to pursue individual
interest and activities. The facility will provide close supervision and individualized care. The facility will
ensure that all residents maintain an optimal level of health and receive medical, dental examinations or
follow-up appointments regularly.
PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to enhance elderly residents' self esteem and independence in a home-oriented setting. Our
mission is to provide the resident in fulfillment in their life goals, whether it is their participation in
meaningful activities, daily living functions or encouraging the residents to maintain optimal physical and
mental health, by seeking routine medical and dental care. We offer an array of activities, which will
enhance or maintain the current agility and mobility of our residents. Our philosophy is to provide optimum
care to our residents without compromising their distinctive characteristics and personalities.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Administration will be a committed partner to ensure resident concerns are addressed in a timely,
satisfactory manner, with the primary goal being continued quality care, services and happiness of the
residents.
PROGRAM GOALS
1. Each resident will increase and/or maintain their present level of daily living skills in accordance with
their Need and Services plan.
2. Each resident will maintain an optimal level of health.
3. Each resident will participate or be encouraged to participate in a variety of facility-based and
community-based activities.
4. Each resident's family members will be encouraged to maintain regular visitation and participation in
facility-based recreational holiday activities.
5. The facility will provide a safe, nurturing, and family-oriented environment for its residents.
6. Socialization will be encouraged among facility residents as well as with others in public settings and
activities.
